Добрый день, дорогие друзья!
Михаил Александрович Шолохов — один из самых успешных советских писателей. Он был обласкан советской властью. Этим и пользовался, чтобы писать в своих произведениях о таком, что официальная цензура «вырезала» из книг других менее удачливых авторов. Шолохов известен прежде всего своими романами о жизни донских казаков, об их борьбе за вольную жизнь и любовь. Уже это могло бы вызвать недовольство советских правителей, ведь казаки единодушно выступали против большевиков во время гражданской войны. Шолохов запечатлел в своих романах образ вольнолюбивых, благородных, преданных своим идеям людей, стремящихся к справедливости, для которых слово «честь» — не пустой звук.
Справка «Певец Тихого Дона»
Самую знаменитую свою эпопею «Тихий Дон» Михаил Александрович начал писать в 20 лет. Первые рукописи повести, которая позже переросла в роман и называлась поначалу «Донщина», были утрачены. В 1940 году роман был закончен. Ради достоверности Шолохов даже купил себе дом в казачьей станице Вёшенская Ростовской области. Здесь ему проще работалось, да и жить в Москве он категорически не хотел. Сейчас район, в котором расположена станица, носит имя писателя, как и улица, на которой находится дом-музей. Здесь Шолохов написал почти весь роман «Тихий Дон». Во времена большого террора писатель направлял письма Сталину с просьбами остановить бесчеловечную работу следователей НКВД. В письме Сталину от 16 февраля 1938 года Шолохов писал:
«Т. Сталин! Такой метод следствия, когда арестованный бесконтрольно отдается в руки следователей, глубоко порочен; этот метод приводил и неизбежно будет приводить к ошибкам. Тех, которым подчинены следователи, интересует только одно: дал ли подследственный показания, движется ли дело… Надо покончить с постыдной системой пыток, применяющихся к арестованным. Нельзя разрешать вести беспрерывные допросы по 5–10 суток. Такой метод следствия позорит славное имя НКВД и не дает возможности установить истину».
С другой стороны, Шолохов полностью поддерживал политику компартии, общий курс, которым следовала страна. Он не относился к диссидентам, возможно, потому что искренне верил в строительство коммунизма, в целесообразность коллективизации, а западный капиталистический уклад был ему непонятен и чужд. Михаил Александрович подписал письмо писателей против Сахарова и Солженицина. Выступал он и против некоторых других литераторов, произведения которых считал пропагандой «духовного вырождения нации».
Основные произведения Михаила Шолохова: «Донские рассказы», «Тихий Дон», «Поднятая целина», «Они сражались за Родину», «Судьба человека». Все они легли в основу сценариев кинолент и сценических постановок. К 1960-м годам Шолохов приобрел мировую известность. Эпопею «Тихий Дон» сравнивали с «Войной и миром». В 1964 году, когда встал вопрос о кандидатах на Нобелевскую премию по литературе, одним из очевидных претендентов был Михаил Александрович. Однако премию он так и не получил. Этот факт возмутил французского философа и писателя Жан-Поля Сартра, которому как раз и досталась в этом году премия. Он в знак протеста отказался получать награду, заявив, что советские писатели так же достойны наград, как и европейские.
В 1965 году Михаил Шолохов наконец-то получил заветную награду, которая означала не только вручение значительной денежной суммы, но и практически приравнивалась к мировому признанию. Премия была вручена «за художественную силу и цельность эпоса о донском казачестве в переломное для России время». Это был первый случай, когда нобелевскую премию по литературе советский писатель получил с «благословения» властей. Ему даже разрешили получить премию лично, в отличие от многих других лауреатов из СССР. На церемонии Шолохов не поклонился шведскому королю Густаву Адольфу VI, как того требовал этикет. Писатель пояснил: «Мы, казаки, ни перед кем не кланяемся. Вот перед народом — пожалуйста, а перед королем не буду». Однако сам Шолохов отрицал данный факт. Он говорил, что это всего лишь легенда, а вежливый поклон с его стороны был, но его не заметили, так как король сильно превосходил писателя ростом. Шолохов был истинным реалистом как в литературе, так и в жизни. Он прагматично распоряжался премиальными деньгами, не бросал на ветер.
Его дочь Светлана рассказывала: «Сталинскую премию в 1941 году папа отдал в Фонд обороны, Ленинскую — на восстановление школы, в которой он когда-то учился, Нобелевскую же оставил себе.
